We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and resume data (education, skills, work experience, projects). We also collect usage data such as resumes generated, roles searched, and features accessed to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your profile data is used to generate personalised resumes and career insights via AI. We use your email address to send important account communications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with row-level security policies ensuring only you can access your own data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
4. Third-Party Services
ByteResume uses the following third-party services: Supabase for authentication and database, Razorpay for payment processing (we never see or store your card details), and Google Gemini AI for AI-powered features. Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your resume data from your profile, update your information in account settings, or permanently delete your account from the Settings page. For any data requests, contact us at support@byteresume.in.
